Privacy Policy

This privacy policy explains what information DevUtils India ("the site", "we", "us") collects when you visit devutilsindia.com, how that information is used, and the choices you have. We aim to keep this document short and readable. If anything is unclear, please reach out via the contact page.

1. Information you give us

You can use every tool on this site without creating an account. The site does not provide a registration, sign-in, payment, or commenting feature. Information you paste into a tool — JSON blobs, URLs, regex patterns, sample text and so on — is processed in your browser and is not transmitted to our servers. The exception is when you choose to contact us by email; in that case we receive whatever you put in your message.

2. Information collected automatically

When you load a page we, or our service providers, may automatically receive:

• standard server log data (IP address, user agent, referring page, timestamp);
• basic analytics events such as page views and tool usage counts;
• information needed to render and measure advertisements.

We use this information to keep the site running, fix bugs, prevent abuse, and decide which tools to build next. We do not attempt to identify individual visitors.

3. Cookies

The site uses a small number of cookies and similar storage mechanisms:

• Functional storage — your selected theme (light/dark) is saved in localStorage so the site remembers your preference between visits.
• Analytics cookies — used to count anonymous page views and measure performance.
• Advertising cookies — set by Google AdSense (see section 4) to serve relevant advertisements and to limit the number of times a given ad is shown to you.

You can clear or block cookies through your browser settings at any time. Doing so will not break the tools.

4. Advertising and Google AdSense

The site is supported by advertisements served by Google AdSense, a Google service. Google and its partners may use cookies (including the DoubleClick cookie) and similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this site or other sites.

5. Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which tools are used and where visitors come from. Aggregate numbers (page views, country, browser family, referring page) are recorded. IP addresses are anonymised by Google before being stored. Personally-identifiable data is not collected. Google's handling of data is described in the Google Privacy Policy. You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking by installing the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

6. Data we do not collect

We do not collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, payment information, or any health, biometric, or financial data. We do not sell or trade visitor information. We do not run fingerprint trackers beyond what AdSense itself does for fraud prevention.

7. Children's privacy

The site is intended for users 13 years of age and older. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has submitted information through the contact page, please email us so we can delete it.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, and to object to certain processing. Because we do not maintain user accounts, in practice the only personal data we may hold is the contents of an email you sent us. To make a request, write to us at the address listed on the contact page.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time as the site evolves or the law changes. The date at the top of this page reflects the latest revision. Material changes will be highlighted on the homepage for at least seven days.
